The RC5400 series is the latest evolution and 3rd generation of RAID controllers and software from Ciprico.

The RC5400 controllers and the RAIDCore software are available in both 4 and 16 port solutions and can use either SAS or SATA II disks drives. The RC5400 controllers can be used either as a standalone product or may be combined with its sister product Virtual Storage Technology (VST) software to create a cost effective storage solution. A feature set that is unmatched by traditional hardware based RAID the RC5400 family creates the definitive price/performance storage solution for the widest range of applications.

RAIDCore software is already deployed in tens of thousands of servers and embedded video workflow environments at many industry leading OEMs and system builders, making it one of the most diversely deployed software RAID platforms in the industry today.
